I dont know how I ended up with a username that advertises both my name and city of residence (I would never choose such a name if I knew it would be posted publicly), but for privacy reasons I'd like to set my forum username to something that isn't so personal. Searching the forums has led me to believe that there is no way for users to do this, but that mods might be able to assist me. How can I contact a moderator to request a change of username?

I would also like to change my username from the one it gifted me when I setup my support account. I did this on my ios device with fat fingers and apparently hit accept instead of the no, not that button. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers
It looks like a host already changed your name. Is that correct? Was GilesC. the name you wanted changed?

I tried to create another Apple ID but it was not working for some reason. I would like mine changed, too.
If you goal is to have another Apple ID, try again - sometimes there is a glitch at some critical time in the process. If it persists in failing, start a New Question with details of your Actions. Read the "How to write a good Question" slide drawer at the beginning of that new question page for tips. Screenshots are often very helpful.
