My xbox says that my NAT type is on strict. Because of this I can't join my friends parties and talk with them privately. Also when playing a certain game I can't join them. I can't find anywhere online that tells me how to change my NAT to open, can someone help me?
I presume you are running a Time Capsule.. you can open all the required ports manually but it is hard work and never functions as well as using upnp.. apple of course decided you will never run a game console or a windows computer behind an apple router so did not both to incorporate it.

Strongly recommend using a standard router with UPNP and bridge the TC just for wireless and backup.
I fixed it on an Airport router by just Allowing Teredo Tunneling. Jump into Airport Utility and it's a simple checkbox under the NETWORK Tab/NetworkOptions. More info here:
