High CPU usage by lsuseractivityd

Right, so I upgraded my laptop today to Os X Yosemite from Mavericks, and ever since my fan has been racking up and CPU temperature stood at 70 degrees Celsius minimum. I've looked into activity monitor and noticed the process lsuseractivityd has been using a minimum of 50% CPU and hence draining my speed and battery, and racking up the CPU temperatures. On OSX Mavericks I believe the average CPU temperature was around 40 degrees. as I looked into console I noticed lsuseractivityd is trying to access the 'BestAppSuggestion' xpc interface and continously failing for a process id which I found to be the dock. My Macbook Air specs are, 13" Early 2014, 1.7Ghz Intel Core i7 Dual core, 8GB Ram. Is there any way to shut down lsuseractivityd, or what is BestAppSuggestion? Since the computer seems to not miss any feature without it working.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10), 1.7 Ghz i7, 8 Gb Ram, 256 Gb, 13"
