iPhone 6 Plus November Orders!

Hello all-

Didn't find any threads for the customers who ordered an iPhone 6/6 Plus this month. I placed my order recently, November 10th, and I'm just beginning the "waiting" phase. I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray model on Sprint network. I have been an Android user since the OS came into existence. I'm willing to switch to Apple and give iOS a chance (with "modifications"). For those of you who placed an order for the iPhone 6/6 Plus this month, how hopeful are you of getting your delivery in a timely manner? What phone did you order? For those of you who already received your phone how long did you wait? And how are you liking it?

My iPhone 6 + was ordered on 3rd October and was delivered from their factory in China, on 9th October - 6 days! That's some delivery service and I gave Apple *****. I tracked it all the way from the Zhengzhou factory in China and right across Europe to the UK and then to my front door. 🙂


I've read that the 6+ is the most popular model and obviously the waiting time has increased significantly.

I forgot to add that I love the 6+ model - there were doubts that it would be too big as a iPhone but from the minute it was delivered, I had it up and running with15 minutes. The displays on the 5S and below really look small compared to the 6+ and I could not go back to a 'small display' again.


Even the 4.7" display looks small so, I would advise anyone just thinking about buying the iPhone 6 to go for the 5.5" display.


I've been reading about all the 'so-called' issues with the iPhone 6 and to be honest, (I thought I had an issue with the ear piece but I did not); I've had mine about 3 weeks now and it appears to be perfect.


No bending, no display scratches, no ear piece issues etc, etc, etc.


If you buy the iPhone 6, especially the 5.5" model, you need to be sensible about how you care for it. Put a screen cover and case on it straight away; preferably before you use it - I have an HD screen cover and a transparent GEL cover on mine and you can still see the iPhone and it's colour through it.


Don't put it in you back pants pockets or horizontally in a front pocket and certainly not with other items in the same pocket. i.e. keys and coins etc.


You're paying a **** of a lot of your hard earned cash for this iPhone 6, so look after it.

Actually, I ordered my phone (6 Plus, 64gb, space gray) on the 7th this month through my carrier, Verizon, with an expected ship date of 11/21. Imagine my surprise to have gotten a shipping notice yesterday on 11/13! Perhaps supply is just starting to catch up with demand but I know there are people whom ordered in both September and October that are still waiting, depending on where they ordered from and what size/model color. i also believe, again depending on from where and what model, that a lot of the ship date estimations are worse-case scenerios so November orders could be sooner or later as it all depends on how consistently Apple and the carriers are getting the phones in stock. Now I'm eagerly awaiting my delivery on Monday (plan to park myself by the front door all day until FedEx arrives!)

Finally a discussion that involves the November orders.


I ordered my gold AT&T 64gb iPhone 6 Plus on the 9th through the Apple Store website and I'm just waiting for the "preparing for shipment" update. It's been on the "processing" for 5 days and I'm just hoping it arrives before I leave for my trip next month. My estimated delivery is between December 10th through the 17th and I leave for my trip on the 22nd.


However, yesterday, I found out that the iPhone 6 Plus I've been wanting has some in stock from where I live and I asked my mom to call Apple if I can pick it up in store instead and they said I can't, sadly. From what my mom said, the guy that talked to her told her that it's best to wait and that I have a chance for my delivery to arrive before the estimate delivery dates. Fingers crossed that I hope mine doesn't get delayed. I really want to use my new phone in my trip, especially the camera since I love to take pictures and I'm a photographer myself.

the rep there said that the 6 plus would come in around 2-3 weeks average but when att send me my order confirmation I was shocked that I have to wait a full month to get it. Hopefully it will come in earlier. Nothing that we can do now except wait.

I live outside United States so my brother is going to bring it to me from TX, the problem that I have is that he is coming back on 12/13. Hopefully it will be delivered before that date. 😮😕

I initially ordered my 6+ 128G Silver from the AT&T store on Oct. 17 and was told by them it would be 2-4 weeks to deliver...well..When checking the online order status the next day, the *estimated* deliver was Nov. 17- Dec. 3...On Nov. 15, the status then changed to Nov. 28. - Dec. 10. After lots of research online and reading about others REAAAALLLY bad experiences with AT&T orders, I called AT&T to try to get a straight answer. First I was told they were back ordered. Then was told I should get the tracking number any day.

I finally decided, based on so many people's problems with long waits, inaccurate info, etc. from AT&T, that what was likely to happen is that on Dec. 10 - the last day of my shipping window - that it would probably get bumped to the end of Dec. and into January!

Yesterday, I called and cancelled my AT&T order and called Apple to order through them!

What a totally different experience! The guy who helped me was amazing and even got a 3 way call going with AT&T to fix an AT&T mistake.

One of the many things I appreciate about Apple is that they under promise and over produce - especially with estimated shipping times! I expect I should get the phone in about 2 weeks.

This was such a terrible experience with AT&T and from everything I've read, they have LOTS of very angry customers who are totally getting the run around on these iphone 6 orders. The customer service is a joke and every rep I spoke with blamed ALL the issues on Apple which, of course, is not true! Apple has no control over how AT&T chooses to fulfill the orders of phones they receive from Apple. People who ordered phones in September are still waiting for their phones...those who ordered later than me in October (same exact phone) received their phone already so their is no "line" in which those who ordered first get their phones first, etc. It's a big, disorganized mess!

My advice is, if you are with AT&T, DON'T order your phone through them - get it from Apple!
