iPhone 6 Plus November Orders!

Hello all-

Didn't find any threads for the customers who ordered an iPhone 6/6 Plus this month. I placed my order recently, November 10th, and I'm just beginning the "waiting" phase. I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray model on Sprint network. I have been an Android user since the OS came into existence. I'm willing to switch to Apple and give iOS a chance (with "modifications"). For those of you who placed an order for the iPhone 6/6 Plus this month, how hopeful are you of getting your delivery in a timely manner? What phone did you order? For those of you who already received your phone how long did you wait? And how are you liking it?

As soon as I placed my order online, my bank account was charged for the taxes on phone. Had been in pending status until this morning. Now, the money is back in my account. From order confirmation email, my bank will be charged when the phone actually ships. And like many others, all "check status" options say something different, but they all have been saying it since I placed the order: Confirmation email: processing and est. ship 12/18-30, MyAT&T: Preparing to ship and est. ship 12/18-30, and CS 800 number: backordered. I'm like you, I always want my stuff immediately! I will keep checking status daily, and will check store inventory too--if it becomes available at a local AT&T store I will cancel order and process my upgrade through the store. I have never waited so long for an item that I have ordered online. Just ridiculous!

I ordered my iPhone 6 plus grey 64 gb (at&t) on November 29th through apple, they charged my account 2 days later. I even paid an extra $10 for faster delivery. The processing time say 3-5 business days and the delivery date is Dec 10- Dec 12. I was really hoping to see that it would have been shipped today- as it is the 3rd business day, but no luck. I'm not exactly sure why they list their processing times in business days since I am fairly sure they are working 24/7 to get these phones made and sent out. I can understand the delivery time in business days because ups delivers on mon-fri. I'm kicking myself because I see that most stores have them in stock now (I live in NY).

I think you're right about them working 24/7 to get the phones shipped out asap but the weird thing that is happening with me is this. Even though it says 'Business-days' the changes to my order happened outside of regular 'office hours'. I think where the iPhones ship from is on another continent. I checked the times in China and it should have been around 1AM over there when my status changed and about 11AM in Cupertino. I live in the timezone GMT +1 (Brussels) and I'm really confused because when I ordered my iPhone 5 it originated from Germany so the changes happened in regular office hours.

I ordered mine through Sprint on Oct 14th. As of today(dec 4th = 7 weeks) no status, only a tracking number that shows an order date and nothing else, every time I contact Sprint I'm told 4-6 weeks from THAT time of contact, not the original order date, at this point they do not think it will arrive before Xmas.

I have yet to meet anyone in person or through forums in the U.S. that has a 6+ 128gb in hand!


T-mobile is rumored to be waiving activation fees and crediting up to $200 for delayed shipping. Sprint said they wont do that and can cancel the order of requested. Nice.


If checking the Apple store stock they quote a 3 week shipping time.

Sprint has already deducted the $500+ from my account back in October, gaining interest but I still dont have anything for my $500.


I didnt know this was going to be a kickstarter. I've already succumbed to the fact that I may never receive an iPhone 6+ 128GB. 😟


I wish they would have lubed me up before getting royally screwed.

UGH! That *****! I just read 2 different articles, 1 on yahoo & 1 on Forbes that now they are going to get ready for the 6S release (possibly with the release of the watch). If that is the case they are going to have a lot of ****** off people, that have been left in the lurch by their carrier providers with extremely poor order fulfillment on the 6 & 6 plus models.

From what I can tell, the long delay seems to be the carriers - AT&T being the worst - especially for those who ordered in October 😟 I ordered my 6+ 128G silver from AT&T in mid October and the pushed back shipping estimates that kept happening had my phone not arriving until the end of December which is why on Nov. 20 I finally cancelled the AT&T order and ordered directly from Apple! The original estimate to ship from Apple was 3-5 weeks, but that quickly changed and my phone is actually out for deliver as we speak so any minute the brown truck should be here 🙂

Apple is getting the phones out much faster than expected and I think they are finally getting caught up.

I live in CA and the phone shipped from China to Korea to Anchorage then here.

You might check local store inventory as many are now having them in stock. Or, you could cancel from Sprint and order directly from Apple which may be about the same time to wait or less, in my case, unless Sprint bumps your ship date back again 😟
