Safari address bar slow (IMK stall detected)

Hey,

~30% of times whenever I open a new tab or switch from a tab to the favourites tab safari freezes for 2-5 seconds.

It's related to these events in Console:

15/11/14 00:37:30,549 PressAndHold[1815]: IMK Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario in <rdar://problem/16792073> - (activateServer) block performed very slowly (6.53 secs)

15/11/14 00:37:30,549 PressAndHold[1815]: IMK Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario in <rdar://problem/16792073> - (hidePalettes) block performed very slowly (6.53 secs)

15/11/14 00:37:30,549 PressAndHold[1815]: IMK Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario in <rdar://problem/16792073> - (deactivateServer) block performed very slowly (6.53 secs)

15/11/14 00:37:30,550 PressAndHold[1815]: IMK Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario in <rdar://problem/16792073> - (activateServerWithReply:) block performed very slowly (6.47 secs)

What should I do to have the issue go away?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Update:

I think I've found the cause. This is only occurring for me when the address in the address bar is longer than the visible width of the address bar, and "Show full website address" is enabled in Safari Preferences -> Advanced.

Does this fix it for anyone else?

Looks like this wasn't addressed in the latest update. Still getting the "IMK Stall Detected" message.

I was getting this message (and stalls) too, but I disabled the feature as described here, and I haven't had the problem since.

What is Apple doing!? El Capitan or beter 'El Crapitan' runs horrible on my new iMac 27inch 5k. Does anyone have a solution? They need to update this El Crap, because i feel robbed!

Any news from you? I just installed again El Capitan with the 10.11.6 upgrade and the problem is still there
