Can I turn off mouse battery low notification

I use rechargeable batteries in my Magic Mouse and I use to have no problems but since upgrading (from 10.6.8 to 10.10) I keep getting notifications on screen that my battery is low even if I just charged them. Now, I know it's due to the voltage difference in rechargeables but I would like to just turn off that little pop up that keeps popping up on screen I click on it to hide it but it just keeps coming back and it's annoying.

What's funny is the battery is fully charged and the menu says 0% battery and has said that through 2 weeks of heavy use. If I swap them out for newly charged batteries it still says the batteries are at 0%.

Ive learned that my keyboard still works flawlessly with 5% battery level when the magic mouse started loosing connections with 8 to 11% battery left. Instead of chucking the batteries from the magic mouse, I am saving them for when the keyboard batteries finally run out. Of course this advice is only good and well if willing to ignore low keyboard battery notifications and you have both wireless keyboard and mouse.

Try resetting the PRAM and see if that helps. If you don't know how please click iMac SMC and PRAM reset for instructions.

The best way to fix this is to replace the Batteries and the message will disappear.

I don't have a mouse with a battery, but one thought that occurred to me: have you checked all of these: Notifications Center, Bluetooth, and the Mouse preference panes in System Preferences?

Well no......I'm not wrong as it worked for me. Until now you've never mentiond that you have new quality batteries or I wouldn't have offered that advice. Good luck.
