iPod Hi-Fi in the car

Do you know if it's possible to run/connect the iPod Hi-Fi from the 12V cigarette lighter in the car?
Thanks for any help. Jens

Hi,

If you are talking about the power supply issue (not audio connection), then I must say that - Yeah, it is possible, but you need to do some modification inside the iPod HiFi, connecting a pair of power wires with 12v cigatetter lighter plug at one end, and connecting with the metal part of the batteries slots, ➕ and ➖.

Please note that no one is going to guarantee it is 100% safe to do so, even 8 pcs. of 1.5v batteries = 12 volts.
