This is a user-to-user technical support forum. We have nothing to do with making or rescheduling your appointments.
You must do this yourself.
I just tested and there are appointments every 5-10 minutes on Nov 8
unable to open online sites
I do not understand what you mean - maybe someone else can guess(?)

I would like to bring my Imac and iPhone in because the IM is not syncing. I have tried to do this on the phone with tech and it still doesn't work
It is most efficient to start the process on the Apple Retail Store page of the Store near you - follow the path on which you are led and you will ultimately be presented with a "map" page with a floating panel with available appointment times for that store
Unfortunately, the process has changed since the article you linked to was published 2 years ago.
I am giving a new I phone 7 to my wife, have it purchased and need a genius bar appointment to transfer all the stuff from her 4GS, can't seem to get to a site that lets me make an appointment
Start on the Apple Retail Store's webpage. 1/2 way down the page is a big Genius Bar graphic (it used to be a button) - follow the link through the triage pathway and you will end up with a floating panel over the map with available reservation times
Not sure you really have to make a Genius Bar appointment. Setting it up from a backup is really just a matter of backing up the 4s to iTunes or iCloud, then setting up the new phone by following the prompts:
Select the Transfer Using iCloud or Transfer Using iTunes option in the link above, and will walk you through making the backup as well as setting up the new device.
