Failed to open a session on the device: problems scanning.
I can't open my HP Envy D410 Scanner, but I can print to the same device using AirPrint.
Regardless of what app/software I try and scan through, the message is:
"Failed to open a session on the device."
I deleted the printer on System Preferences and then added it again.
I reset the printing system.
I restarted the computer, and went through the same process several times.
I installed OSX Yosemite on my late 2013 iMac about a month ago and everything was working well. About a week ago, I had some problems with Disk Permissions, which I repaired. That's the only thing I can think of that's changed since it stopped working.
Can anyone help?
