High data usage since updating to 8.1.1

After updating last night in the hope that i would start been able to use my 4s as was before the ios 8 update i've found its set me back further again. After following some tips on here after the last update i seemed to have slowed the huge data usage down by turning off location services and a few other things. After barely using my phone at work on cellular today, yet again im left with barely no allowance from now to the end of the month. Im on a 500mb plan with o2 but before the arrival of ios 8 i would have data to spare at the end of the month, now its not lasting 2 weeks. Anybody else noticing this after updating? and any tips on reducing would be more than welcome.

I'm honestly amazed that Apple hasn't recognised this problem yet, and hasn't fixed it yet. It's clearly an iCloud problem. We have no control of what it's doing, it just keeps using up people mobile data. This data costs a lot and Apple should know better is fix this. I think we should start passing our mobile data charges to Apple until they tell us what the **** is "Documents & Sync" and how we stop it without making this "smart" phone completely dumb.
