I use to be able to put Emoticon icons in my calendar for the IPhone 4 and 5. I can't do that with the 6 Plus. It's nice to be able to use a little birthday cake icon for birthdays, etc. etc. Now I can't. I miss my IPhone 5. Not liking the 6 Plus.

Thanks for the question. You can definitely still use Emoji in your Calendar events, and I can see the benefit in doing so. What happens when you attempt to do so? It may be that the emoji keyboard is not enabled on your new iPhone 6 Plus. To enable it, see the following:

Turn on the emoji keyboard
- Tap Settings > General > Keyboard.
- Tap Keyboards.
- Tap Add New Keyboard.
- Tap Emoji.

I Have the Emoji showing in my keyboard settings but it doesn't work. When I put a little icon in my calendar, my calendar changes the icon to a Default. it shows "New Appoitment" in its place.
correction on my last reply...my calendar will allow the emoji and show it until I charge my phone or turn it off and the emoji icon turns into "New Event" on my calendar once phone is recharged or rebooted.
