Family Share Purchase History....

Is there a way to look up the purchase history of the members of Family Share? I got my credit card bill and the only thing listed is iTunes purchase. When I go under MY (FAMILY ORGANIZER) iTunes ID, only MY purchases are listed. How do I find a list of what each family member purchased so I can tell my kids what they owe for their purchases?

Ive tried the iTunes on the computer- only gives me MY purchases.

Ive tried the iTunes app on my phone > more>purchased>select family member> but this gives me the ENTIRE purchase history of the member, not just what they have purchased through family share.

HELP!!!!!

You can log in as each of the family members (assuming you have their credentials) to view their purchase history, but if you have a large family, it's super tedious.

Apple, if you're listening, a consolidated family purchase history available to the family organizer would be really handy. I nearly had to report a fraudulent purchase to Capital One this morning. Took me an hour to wend my way through a labyrinth of seemingly random interfaces to get the relevant purchase history.

This is still an issue 2 years after the initial post. There apparently is no way to see all family purchases on one statement. You have to log out of your account and log in using the username and password of the other family member. At that point, you can see all of their purchases (including in-app purchases) with the dollar amount of each purchase. I hope this helps.

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Click iTunes Store.
  3. Near the top right of the iTunes window, click your Apple ID and select "Family Purchases" from the drop-down menu.
  4. To see the purchases from other family members, click the Apple ID drop down that appears next to "Purchased" section of the window (top left area), and select each member you who's purchases you wish to see.

This drop down menu mentioned in step 4 has multiple search options for purchases, including films, apps, and music. If you compare this list with your email receipts you will be able to see who purchased what. On the Apple website it does back this up with...

"If you use Family Sharing, you won't see all family member purchases in one purchase history. The family organizer can check email receipts for purchases initiated by other family members"
