I've been having the same problem ever since I downloaded the new version of iTunes.

Same problem here. Never had the problem before 7.0.1.8. Now I cannot download anything with trying up to 20 times. Took me hours to download a movie with having to keep restarting the download and checking for purchases. Now, more often than not, I have to use the Report a Problem link in the store and point out the issue and they post the item back to my account so I can download. It's really frustrating.

Plus things take foreeeeeevvvvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrr to download whereas before they clicked right along. I haven't installed anything other than upgrading to this P.O.S. upgrade. No firewall, no blockers, fast DSL connection. And it does not matter whether I'm on DSL at home or at either of my 2 offices. It's the P.O.S. software, not my computer OR my network connections as I get the same thing on all 3 different networks.

I have had exactly the same problem -I ordered and paid for the Reindeer Room Vol 1 + Santa Baby. It (sometimes) appears as greyed-out in my purchases but isn't live. It's nearly Christmas and I'd like to know how to download my music sooner rather than after.

I have the same error. Ostebsibly it defers the fault to your internet settings. Howver, from reading other messages in the forum I would suggest the fault lies with the latest version of Itunes. So Itunes have the money, we have no Reindeer Room and the fult lies at their doot! Bah humbug it would appear!
