I have ancient tech. What do I do?

So long story short, I still have what could be considered a dinosaur. An iPod touch 1st gen. The 16GB version. Ancient, right? Got it when it pretty much first came out.

I know this is more of an opinionated question, but what can I do with it?

It's incredibly irrelevant tech in this day especially since I have bigger and better things now. It still powers up and works perfectly fine. The screen is not cracked and in excellent condition though the home button, admittedly, is a little resistant. But otherwise it's still working.

I have no idea what to do with it. Any ideas?

iPod touch, iOS 2.x, It's old.

To more easily find compatible apps:

iOSSearch- search the iTunes store for compatible apps.

Apple Club- filter apps by iOS version.

However, yo need to update to 3.1.3, the last update for the 1G to get most compatible apps:

To update

The Settings>General>Software Update comes with iOS 5 and later.

Connect the iPod to your computer and update via iTunes as far as your iPod model allows

iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

A 1G iPod can go to iOS 2.2 via iTunes and iOS 3.1.3 via

Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)

The iPD still play music like it did when it was new. It also does mail and some other things like it was new too.
