I just tried to install Quarkxpress 10 on Yosemite (10.10.1 running on a Mac mini) but when the installer checks the operating system with this message "Minimum system OS required is Mac OS® 10.7 (Lion®) or later." it does not recognise Yosemite and only offers a close button which then quits the installer. Any advise on how to get it to install?
Have this same issue with Quark 8 as well as a demo of Quark 10. Have found no solution for this. Not sure if it is a Quark problem or Apple.
**edit** I just read on the Quark forums that you should download the Quark 10.5 demo and install that. You should be able to use your serial number with the demo to activate it. I am downloading now to see if it works.

Downloading the demo QuarkXpress 10.5 from their website worked for me, no problems. You can use your validation code and install as a full copy.
