SIgning In iTunes Store

I have asked for help on this issue MANY MANY TIMES and no one seems to know or want to assist me. So I am asking one last time. Tonight when I pulled up iTunes, AGAIN, it asked me to sign in with my itunes/apple store password. SIX TIMES THIS TIME. each time telling me it is incorrect when I KNOW it is not! WHY does this keep happening? Why do I have have to sign in multiple times even when I typed the password in correctly the first time! This happened with Lion, Mountain Lion, 10.10 and now 10.10.1this is very very annoying. Can some one help me THIS TIME?

Thank you;

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

After multiple times with Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, and Yosemite, I think I might consider the password isn't correct. You can try to change it via:

Sorry, the password IS correct. It is my Apple ID that I use for everything apple, including signing in to these discussions. And, I eventually succeed signing in when I launch iTunes on the 4th, 5th, 6th (pick a number) try, it differs each time. And I am telling you I type the SAME word each and every time. The password is correct. There is something else going on that triggers it to ask me multiple times.

Thank you, Migliamos for pointing out that instead of helping me, I am every one's clown. Used to be a great place for assistance. No worry's. This will be the last post on this and any other subject. I am sure I can find another means to help me now that I know this is useless. Am sure Apple would like copies of these post as well. Enjoy your popcorn.

I believe you're taking an element of your life that has relatively little bearing entirely too seriously. Like I said, I will look into why we are both having trouble with having to sign in to iTunes multiple times each time we open it. Beyond that, I will not act as if somebody just killed my dog and ran away laughing over this marginal annoyance in my life. Relax Jass, I'm on ur side. Nonetheless, we need to be able to laugh at ourselves from time to time.

I have the same problem. When I had Mavericks, I had to sign in 3x. Now that I upgraded to Yosemite, I have to sign in 4x in iTunes and I answer the exact question with the exact same correct password each time, but have to do it 4x.

I called Mac support. They said to go into my Keychain and find every reference to apple or iTunes and open each up (which there were very many) and correct every password to be the one I use. I did that and that made no difference.

Apple then said it was a problem with iTunes and to reinstall it. I did that. And again, no difference; I still have to log in 4 times to use iTunes.

I also tried emptying the cache, de-authorizing and then reauthorizing iTunes, but again that made no difference.
