SIgning In iTunes Store

I have asked for help on this issue MANY MANY TIMES and no one seems to know or want to assist me. So I am asking one last time. Tonight when I pulled up iTunes, AGAIN, it asked me to sign in with my itunes/apple store password. SIX TIMES THIS TIME. each time telling me it is incorrect when I KNOW it is not! WHY does this keep happening? Why do I have have to sign in multiple times even when I typed the password in correctly the first time! This happened with Lion, Mountain Lion, 10.10 and now 10.10.1this is very very annoying. Can some one help me THIS TIME?

Thank you;

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Reading your posts. Tried WetShaver's repair, worked for me so far. Like you i might be inadvertently causing this problem by accident. I will be careful and report anything I find.

Also total agree with you about some on this forum who are quick to criticize but have no solution. I do not claim in anyway to be an expert, but I'm learning. Come here when I get stuck, not to engage in adolescent banter.

I've heard this problem will occur if you reset Safari, because, in their infinite wisdom, Apple have decided to link Safari with the iTunes sign in.

Of course many people, like me, reset Safari as a matter of course, and every time you do, you'll be forced to sign in multiple times when you open iTunes.

Really dumb idea, Apple. I'm sure the "feature" works well for them somehow. Not so much for the customer. It's not as if we don't have alternatives for music players, should we get tired of signing in two, three, or four times whenever we open iTunes.
