Launchpad: How to delete items with ? icon

As I was paging through Launchpad, I noticed that there were a number of apps with a ? displayed as their icon, which I figured meant that they were no longer in my Applications directory. This assumption proved true as I looked there and these apps were no longer there. Which is fine as I periodically do some housecleaning.

So I'd like to know how to remove those slots from Launchpad, or how to delete and rebuild Launchpad's database so that it accurately reflects the apps in /Applications.

I'm fine using Terminal if it's needed.

Running OSX 10.10.1 on a late 2012 Mac Mini.

Thanks!
