How do you upload files to websites with iPad?

For business purposes, I need to regularly download text files (mostly .docx), modify these, and then upload them in PDF-format files to websites. Working with these .docx files and turning them into PDF is quite the task in its own right, but the real challenge is then uploading them to websites. If I tap "upload file" (or similar) on any website, the iPad brings up my photos, and I don't seem to be able to upload anything but those.

I did find a workaround using three apps: I download the .docx files to Dropbox with Puffin Browser, then load and modify them with WPS Office, then put them back in Dropbox, and then I use Puffin Browser again which lets you upload files from your Dropbox account to websites. Obviously this is quite a pain (it's 52 steps in all), more so because for my business I constantly work with new groups of people who I need to teach how to do this. There has to be an easier way to go about doing something as basic as this. Anyone?

Thanks in advance!

Latest version of Word for ios supports dropbox.

iCab uploading files

"FILE UPLOADS:iCab Mobile can upload any files on web pages, like uploading photos on flickr.com or Facebook.com. Due to limitations of the iOS this does not everywhere, but it works fine on many web sites."

See this thread.

email the file to some email you have like gmail. Use icab to access your email on the web. download. upload to site.

iUploader app

"The iUploader app is the only way I know of to load files such as resumes and cover letters to sites such as Monster and CareerBuilder (those having the "Browse for File" links intended for desktop use) from an iOS device. If there is another way to do it, then I'm just not aware of it. I asked for this on the Apple discussion forum months ago and now here it is! Thank you app devs for this!" https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iuploader-free-uploads-downloads/id541315293?mt= 8

I know some or one of these apps will support dropbox.

All of the "Office" document editing applications on the iPad have limitations. Best try them out to see if they meet your needs.

Thanks to Texas Mac Man for pointing to this link.

"Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite and Documents To Go These two apps share an important feature: unlike Numbers, they can open, edit, and save an Excel spreadsheet without stripping out any data or formatting, even though they can’t display or edit all the existing information; spreadsheets can make the round trip from Mac to iPad and back safely, without losing anything."

Thanks for your recommendations. I tried quite a few of those apps, and eventually settled for the ones I mentioned before (a Puffin, WPS Office, Dropbox combo) but I'll give some of these a shot and see if they work out better.

The thing is, I really hoped there would be an answer that doesn't require app A for downloading, app B for document editing, app C for storage and app D for uploading. I really want to cut corners there. Is that even possible?
