Dear All,

I have NHS mail running nicely on iOS devices and when I am on the NHS network (N3) Outlook works under Yosemite.

However I cannot get outlook to find the NHS.net server , - eas.nhs.net from outside e.g. at home. Anyone else have any similar experience or solutions ?.

Hi

I have similar issues. I can connect to NHS Mail using iPhone and iPad but NOT using my MacBook running Yosemite 10.10.1.

I am attempting to connect using the Exchange option within internet accounts in Yosemite. It was working OK until a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure but the recent update to Yosemite 10.10.1 may have created the problems.

Very frustrating as when the MacBook attempts to connect to NHS Mail it not only fails but also locks my NHS mail account resulting in loss of access on ALL devices, including outlook from within N3! I then have to ask my NHS Mail administrator to unlock my account and reset my password. As a result I have had to deactivate NHS Mail on my MacBook.

I am having the same problem with NHS Mail. I have contacted NHS Mail who have identified my MacBook is attempting to connect with a bad password attempts.

I had cleared cache on web browsers and all nhs net details within key chain but that did not help. There must be something else going on. I think this is an important issue. If you find a solution please reply.

Since so many medics use macs, for imaging reasons in my case, i think it important that the providers of NHS Mail take this seriously and not sure brush it aside and say contact Apple. They would have so much more clout sending a note centrally to help resolve this issue.

Why do you think AirMail works and MAC mail doesn't? The integration I want is my diary on my mac.

There must be an old password saved somewhere in Mail, but fo the life of me, I can't find it. I have deleted the NHS Mail account, cleared up my keychain, deleted the Mail cache all to no avail. Airmail is as separate program so does not have this baggage. Having said that, I prefer mail, especially when combined with MailTags to make retrieval of archived posts much easier; I just want to be able to use it! I completely agree that NHS Mail should be taking Apple users seriously.
