I have bought a new Polar watch, and am trying to install WebSync to upload the watch contents. Every time it goes through nearly to the end of installation, and then comes up to say installation has failed. Any ideas?

Same problem here, in Nov 2017 with a Polar Loop 2...
James, did you ever get this resolved? I was just on the phone with Polar and they had me try several things ,but it still will not load. I installed it successfully on a windows machine, but won't load on Yosemite. They said the would contact their developers and to check back in a day or so. I have seen others posts about websync with yosemite, so it is reasonable that they (Polar) have to do something
No solution. Polar said I should click WebSync after installation failed. Which is quite obviously stupid. WebSync is not Yosemite compatible.
I agree, it took me a long time to convince the rep that I was not the only one with the problem. I told him to do a google search and he would see others. I will give it a few days to see if they either resolve it or at least post something stating they are aware and are addressing. If not I guess I will return it.
MMine has already gone back. I've got a Garmin instead. I think the Polar is a better watch, but if I can't sync with my Mac, it's pretty useless. Polar need to admit there is a problem, and get it sorted.
