while loading a netflix movie I get this error code. called netflix they said this is an apple code and to contact apple. this computer monitor setup has worked flawlessly since I bought the mac mini. Just lately I have been getting this error.

What it means is stated on Netflix's website

You need a supported monitor to play HDCP protected content.

Netflix was working for me fine in Safari 8.0.6 (OS 10.10.3) right up until an hour ago, when it stopped working with the same error message on this thread. Netflix had me troubleshoot, trash Silverlight folders, reinstall, etc. Didn't work. They also kept asking about what display I had connected to my computer (an Apple Cinema display on a Mac Pro 2013). Chrome works. Safari doesn't. Trashed cookies and caches, still no go.


If anybody has an idea, would love to hear it. Not a big deal to use Chrome, just annoying.
