Purchased ringtone missing from iphone 6

I had a purchased ringtone as my default on my iPhone 6 and all the sudden it is gone and doesn't even show up in the ringtone section. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.1

Hi This is an ongoing, problem for a lot of people, including, me contact itunes /support/apple.com i got a refund even if you download, again when you turn iphone off it returns to default ringtone and downloaded tone has gone. Apple are lookind into this. Yet i have ringtone i downloaded over a year ago and that ones ok. Cheers Brian

Having similar problem, with iPhone 6 and using latest iOS 8.1.3. Tried the iTunes recommend www.itunes.com/restore-tones but it says "None of your ringtones were affected"... and gives you no other options or information.

Loss of 99 cents, I guess... I opened trouble ticket. We shall see...
