I had already responded to your query above in my post above:

Try cleaning the connection points out with a clean, soft toothbrush to remove any debris that may be preventing the device from charging. If you have a different charging cable, try that.

If you have tried cleaning out the port as suggested, and have tried a different cable, and have left the device plugged in for at least 30 minutes and it is still not charging, then you should take it back to the Authorized Apple Provider to have them look at it. If the device was purchased from that Authorized Provider within the last year, then they should replace the device free of charge if there is a manufacturing defect with the phone.

In addition to hooking up the device to a charger via a wall outlet, have you tried hooking it up to a computer to see if it will charge from the computer via the USB cable? If not, give that a try. Leave it hooked up for at least an hour to see if it will begin charging.

Try cleaning out the charging port on his iPad. Use a soft, clean, toothbrush, and give it a good brushing out. If there is any lint or debris in there, the charger won't make the connection, so it won't charge. Be sure you are using at least a 10w charger, and make sure that it, and the wall socket it it plugged into is working by hooking it up to another device (like your iPhone). Once you have verified the charger/wall socket is working, and once you have cleaned out the port on the iPad, plug the charger in again and give it 30 minutes or so.

After 30-60 minutes, see if it is charging. If it is, then you should be good to go once it is charged up.

If you are still having issues after it is charged, reset the device: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them both down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset completes successfully, the Slide to Unlock screen will display.

Best of luck,

I have an Ipad Air that suddenly stopped working, I tried all I know and have read on this tread yet it is not even lighting talkless of working.

I have in the past, charged, press power and home buttons together for some times, connected to a computer, started itunes, changed charger yet it seems like it is never going to work again. I don't know what to do. Please help me.
