when I download a game on my iPad they also appear on my iphone

how do I stop them from loading on my iPhone as well

TThanks Niel , so I can still download games in my iPad and they won't show any more on my iPhone , plus I can still download games if I want to on my iPhone and the apps will still show on my iPhone
