Unknown file, adi.pb.lck

Found a file named, adi.pb.lck, ina folder labeled "adi", inside my shared folder, and have no idea how it got there or what it's for.

Anyone know what this is, and if I should delete it?

Was supposed to be just from Mavericks and a bug from itunes which they "supposedly" patched as i just now found adi.pb.lck when it showed up on my BRAND NEW mbp with touchbar... usually MY Libraruy shows and the hidden 1 shows if i press OPTION but neither showing on their own now... bizarre..

very little shows in a search for info on the file...

i got this link: https://forums.appleinsider.com/discussion/179736/apple-fixes-hidden-users-folde r-bug-introduced-in-os-x-10-9-3-with-itu…

My guess is it's from iTunes -- there's a similar file on Windows at C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\iTunes\adi\adi.pb

Or it's related to iBooks or the Mac App Store. See this post: http://galvanist.com/post/66313155502/users-shared-adi for more details.

That's all the info I was able to find. I'm on 10.6.8 so it isn't just a Lion/ML/Mavericks/Yosemite thing.

Personally I'm just going to leave it there at least for now.
