i want to install ios 8 to my iphone 4. how can i update

I find it totally unbelievable that there are over 130 posts in this thread explaining that it is impossible to update an iPhone 4 to iOS 8, and yet there are new posts asking for it every day.

What part of NO is hard to understand?

You think this is bad? How about the 32 page one about what to do when you get a message telling the person to contact www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww and they ask what should they do? Every other post is what should I do, and every other post is giving an answer. The title of the thread is:

“Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed. For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/.” What should I do?

My guess is they are too lazy to read the postings in this thread. They just want a place to whining and moan rather then admit that their iPhone is obsolete.

I agree, how can you post the same question almost daily. In addition to not reading anything in this thread, when you open it, the Apple recommended response is at the very top of the thread which states that it is not possible to do it. You must be very lazy not to read at least that part. I guess we will just have to continue to assist the people who do not want to find the information themselves.

I love those too. What part of contacting iTunes support don't they understand. How do these people survive if they can't read and follow simple directions?

Not that it is any way a legitimate reason for these types of posts, but by default the "Floating Question" is quite prominent, and only 2 or 3 replies are shown. The new and improved ASC has not made it easier to see that the thread has a gazillion replies.
