My mouse is double clicking often, even though I only single click.

I'm using a Razer DeathAdder 3.5g 2013 and I've got the same issue. I tried resetting the PNMR (whatever that is) and also adjusting the double click speed in system preferences. I've uninstalled and re-installed the razer drivers and software(synapse) and the problem persists.

This is on a MacBook Air mid 2013 with OSX 10.10.1

I'm also using a Razer Deathadder, and I have the same problem. It's also happening with the middle click, which is strange. My main problem with this, is in photoshop when I'm using the polygonal lasso tool. Whenever I'm trying to select anything, it will just randomly chose to select the entire region, wether I want it to or not. I've tried making my clicks extra short, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Yeah, I've tried clicking really carefully and everything, and it doesn't seem to work. It's definitely some software issue, because lots of other people have had this issue before, but this was the most recent thread that I saw, so I decided to post about it here. Are you using Razer Synapse?

Yeah, I'm using Razer Synapse. I just tried updating it again, but I'm still having problems with double clicking.

TO everyone on this discussion:

There is a "Double-click speed" setting in the "Accessibility" System Preferences - click on the "Mouse & Trackpad" (in the Interacting options) choice on the left and you will see the slider to adjust the double-click speed.

Also sometimes if you have third party mouse drivers with their own System Preferences settings it might be there as well.

I've got an Apple Magic Mouse and the above is what I use to adjust the double-click speed.

If you read my post above, you will see that I have already attempted to change the double click speed, and that did not fix the issue. Razer Synapse also does not have a setting for double click speed as that is up to the operating system.

Edit: Also, the original poster stated he has already changed double click speed as well.

I Have the same problems. I have a Logitech M305 wireless Mouse. It looks like my problems started after installing AVG Anti-virus. Did you do the same? Did you found already a solution for this problem?

Sorry, I was busy moving and didn't have my desk set up until now, and I am again using my mouse and I still have this issue. To answer your question I have never used any type of anti-virus.

I am also using Razer DeathAdder (left hand edition) and facing the same problem for months.

I also Razer DeathAdder. Updated to 10.10.2 a couple of days ago and saw the issue almost straight away. I read that this has been ongoing for many months with Razor driver updates still not fixing the problem. Some people seemed to get a fix by installing Synapse. I might try that next as it is getting pretty annoying.

I am using Razer DeathAdder 2013 on OSX 10.10.3. I bought this mice 2 months ago and this issue come to me just last week. I tried to delete Synapse and this helps a little but not much. I tried on bootcamp Win7 and there is no double click problem anymore. *** is that?
