Hey all,
Anybody know if there's anyway to copy bullet points to non iWork apps or to an e-mail? I've seen other discussions with the same problem, but most of those were from years ago, so I'm hoping this problem has been fixed...

Hate to say it, and take the easy way out, but typically if the document simply needs to be read only I just save it as a .pdf. This also insures that any other formatting will remain intact.
Tried it. The bullet formatting is messy and doesn't copy to gmail. Really dont want to have to buy Word, but might have to here :/
Shame, I like Pages so much, but this is proving to be a deal breaker for me.
The actual bullets are not selectable, though the accompanying text can be selected, copied, and pasted into another word processing document. If the destination application has an icon with a bullet list on it in the toolbar, select the pasted text, and then click the bullet icon. All of your pasted text gains bullets.
A good idea in theory, except this doesn't copy the level of indentation. Pages is so close to perfection as a word processor...
Still a tiny bit confused why you can't just save a PDF version and email that? Does the content have to be in the body, or can you send your document as an attachment for them to read or print on their end of the email conversation? Pages can export to Word, PDF and more and you can attach the document to your email. That way the formatting should be the same.
Look this through and see if it's a good solution for your problem:
I can select three levels of indentation in Pages v5.2.2, copy it, and it will paste as bullets with the same indentation in Apple Mail 7.3. The text indent is larger than was configured in Pages though.
Copying from the PDF version doesn't distinguish between levels of indentation.
As for why I can't send the entire document.... I'm a sergeant in the UNSC and this document is my daily journal- there's too much classified information to send out the entire thing to people. What if it was to fall into the wrong hands and The Covenant was to gain access to it?
