how can I print 4 documents on one sheet?

Hello,

using pages together with hp photosmart c4680 (OS X embedded driver) and was trying to print 4 documents on one sheet. For this the paper format in pages was set to "A6" (this is a quarter of A4) and after finishing writing going to printing. Now I figured to 4 documents on one paper/sheet, but i got only one in the left upper corner. Several trying with other settings wasn't successful.

Is there anybody with the same experience? Please help!

This number-up setting on the print dialog prints ONE document and arranges the pages of this document according your selection.

When you want to print SEVERAL documents, you could either start to shuffle printed paper and re-insert the paper into the paperfeed (error prone and might not work properly anyway), or you would have to combine the 4 (in your case) documents into one. You can do this with Pages or with Preview. In that case print each document to a PDF, then use Preview to merge the 4 PDFs into one, then print that resulting PDF with the preferred number-up setting.

Hope this explains what is going on here.
