My Dear Confused Soundy, You seem to have misread my post. I was saying the company's hyper aggressive need for unnecessary upgrades and deceptions are the result of the absence of Steve Jobs whom I hold in high esteem. (Unless you somehow know that he posthumously left instructions about a desire to create more frustrated customers.) While you seem to have a strong need, almost professionally or financially motivated, to defend such policies, this isn't really helpful to the brand. If you know anything about more efficient storage for a 16GB iPhone please share it in this forum but the iWay or NoWay answers are useless. The missing 4.2GB is used for other partitions on the hdd like the efi partition and others. These are created by iOS and can't be removed otherwise your phone will be a brick
