How in the world did I miss the earlier part of this conversation? I don't see anything about an SD card until ckuan's first reply!
Because s/he has been editing and editing the post.
Okay, I'm not a Mac user, but does the MacBook Air have an SD slot, or do you have to connect it a different way? The Mac computers use iPhoto or Image Capture to import photos from a camera to the computer.
is that suppose to be funny
Great!! I thought I was going NUTS! No wonder yours and Csound1 replies were not making any sense.
The latest Macbook Air has a SDXC slot.

No, but you are making it very difficult for folks to help you by providing little or no information.
Okay. Like I said before, I'm a PC user and instructor, and don't know a lot about the Mac computers.
nothing happened when I connected it. No signs of life!

It's a valid answer to a question with no information in it!
Maybe you should try a little harder.
Good luck.
oh I loved my pc and I hate my mac! dont ever buy one!
oh no that question was for the other guy! sorry!
See if any of the information here will help. Sounds like question 9 might be what you need to look at. About the SD and SDXC card slot - Apple Support
no he said to turn it clockwise so I thought he was being funny. sorry I didnt mean to say that to you. like i said I'm at a lost!
If the SDXC card has any pictures.
Slide in the card on the right side of your Macbook Air.
Open Mac's iPhoto, in iPhoto menu > File > Import to Library... then choose the SD card where it's located to import all the photos to Mac's iPhoto app.
I'm sorry! like i said I dont understand this on line thing. I thought I was talking to one persons reply.
