Why a MacBook pro is slow on OS X Yosemite

I had updated my MacBook Pro to the new OS X and got the last version (10.10.1), but I wonder why Mac now slow in everything compares to previous OS X?!

- Deleting

- Opening

- Saving

- Empty trash

- Even when its gonna starts up after shut down

- Closing applications

And so on!

Is there any problem with my Mac or OS X?!

I do not know why, but OS X Yosemite upgrades are more problematic than older OS X versions. Slowness may be caused to different reasons which you can check in this user tip -> Why is my computer slow?

If you have just finished the upgrade, I would recommend you to wait for some hours. Spotlight may be indexing the hard drive, and this process makes your Mac a bit slow.

If that does not solve anything, I recommend you to make a backup of your files, format the hard drive and make a clean install, so you will get the maximum performance. To reinstall OS X, boot up your Mac in OS X Recovery (hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting up):

1. After starting up in OS X Recovery, open Disk Utility, choose "Macintosh HD" in the sidebar and go to "Erase" to format the hard drive".

2. Close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X.

After reinstalling OS X, restore only your user files. If you restore applications too, you will be back to the same performance issues.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

ā˜ž Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

ā˜ž In the Finder, select Go ā–¹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

ā˜ž Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ā–¹ All Messages

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

View ā–¹ Show Log List

from the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take an action that isn't working the way you expect. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

Some private information, such as your name or email address, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

I turned off the Bluetooth and do it again and the result was same ( my BT is off most of the time ) But, the problem is more now 😐 its really annoying !

my iTunes is getting me over

my mouse pad got some bugs

when i paste something on desktop it wont appear for mins then after paste it again, will ask for replace and then will appear !

most of my RAM is used by App memory and File cache even i close every single app and Clean memory

Wifi will turn off automatically and a message will come every time i left Mac for hours and it goes to sleep

and i cannot even use new OS X options like send and receive phone calls or text messages 😐

Its far from Apple to release like this, they always been the best and what happened now !?

new update for OS X will release or i should reinstall pervious OS X Mavericks ?!
