8.1.2 battery drain (iPhone 6 PLUS)

Helllo Apple Community,

I am writing regarding a problem I am having with my iPhone 6+.

Basically, after updating to the iOS 8.1.2, I am having serious battery drain issues with my iPhone. I used to be doing around 14-15 hrs total (I could go down to 1%) with LTE on and medium-heavy usage (I use Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Message and Pinterest a lot- no problems!) but only 3 or 4 hours in, I am now already at 50-45%! VERY WEIRD considering this is an iPhone 6 PLUS. For example today, after only using Safari, 15 minutes of Waze and texting I reached 77% (within a 3 hour period). This is very strange because I could last a day and half when I was at iOS 8.1.1.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? I am very disappointed because I used to experience STELLAR battery performance from the iPhone 6 PLUS. Fortunately, I have a screenshot of how great my batter used to perform (attached)User uploaded file

As you can see I had 15 hrs and 11 minutes of standby and about 8 hours of usage (take note, I unplugged around 11 am the day before)

Now after 8.1.1 update, I am only getting around 6-7 hours! Very big difference! Please, someone help me. The reason why I chose the iPhone 6 PLUS was because of its battery performance... and now? It's as good or slightly better than my iPhone 5 battery.

*please note: I have note changed my routine! I've been doing the same thing.

Thank you, Apple community. Happy holidays!

I recently purchased my iPhone 6 Plus and ever since I got it out of the box I'm seeing at least 15hrs of both usage and standby time. Usage is always symmetrical with Standby. I know for a fact I'm not on the phone for 15hrs and I'm fairly sure it is the 8.1.2 update because I have a friend with an iPhone 6 Plus and he hasn't updated to 8.1.2 yet and he can definitely get a day and a half out of it. Now I did have my Pebble smartwatch connected to it, but it only took up 1% of the battery life I was looking to see if I could downgrade, but since Apple quit signing the firmware file I'm out of luck. The big reason I got this phone was for the battery life, what gives? Where's the amazing battery life that I've seen reviewers and others mention?

Okay, so I'm finally seeing battery life like I should be seeing. Did a few things so not sure which one it was:

- Turn off background app refresh for apps that really don't need it,

- Turn off location services for apps that really don't need that function

- Turn off Auto Brightness

- I had a facebook account on my iPhone (not the app). I removed that, not sure if its a contributor, but who knows?

- Reset your iPhone (hold down Home + lock buttons) until the Apple logo appears.

Hopefully these can help! I'm going off a day without charging and at 65% battery life.
