ipod nano 7 bluetooth not working!

Have you used these headphones with any other devices?

I've had this same problem. It's strange because, my iPod will connect to some devices but not all. Like, it refuses to connect to the bluetooth in my car but will connect just fine to my wireless beats headphones.

If the headset is within proximity of your iPhone 6 then when you turn on the headset it will auto connect with the iPhone 6 making it invisible to the Nano. Turn off Bluetooth on the iPhone, put the headset in pairing mode and try again.

I'm not familiar with that headset, perhaps it is only capable of holding one pairing and has to cleared to pair with another device.

If you have no other BT devices than the iPhone that are paired with the headset, you have cleared all pairings and put the headset in pairing mode and you still cannot pair the Nano then make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and test it there.

Appears to be a common problem with iPod Nano 7. I can pair the SNEER 801 with the phone but not the iPod (when the phone Bluetooth is turned off.) iPod nano sees no Bluetooth devices and just shows "Searching" when Bluetooth is turned on.

I see similar threads for other Bluetooth devices that the iPod Nano 7 does not pair with. Seems to be common to the iPod.

I was having the same issue with my brand new iPod Nano. But I was able solve the issue by plugging in the ear buds that came with my Nano. Once I plugged the ear buds in I then unplugged them. Then I tried to pair my LG Bluetooth ear buds and they paired right away! Hope this helps!

I had the same exact problem. Both my Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones would not be found by my iPod but they both worked fine on my iPhone.

I did get this to work, though!

I turned off my iPhone's Bluetooth (idk if this is necessary or not)

I had to set my headphones to "pairing mode." To do so, I looked up the manual/directions for my headphones; for these I had to hold the power button down for seven seconds, and this is probly different for different devices.

Once I set my headphones to paring mode it popped right up on my iPod under the Bluetooth menu when it was "discovering."

Your right!!!!! I did just what you said. Instantly, my Ipod stopped trying to link to my beats headphones and my music started playing in my headphones from my Iphone, which apparently was also trying to pull the bluetooth connection the whole time. Works great now. Thanks alot.

I'm not the OP, but I've had the same issue, they work fine with my Android phone (Moto X 2013)

Make sure to turn Bluetooth off on the Moto X, put the headset in pairing mode and try again.

Any other devices you've used with it? Did you place the headset in pairing mode after you turned off the BT on all devices?

I have had the same problem! I cannot connect to my nano, but I can connect to my iPhone. I am hoping there is a solution...
