can i get numbers to open qif file

I used to be able to download bank statements in qif file and open it without any problem BUT now the file will not open and i cant find a program that will open the file which will then let me post the srtatement on my accounts packege.

can anyone help me, please.

Thanks for your reply, it is my Notebook Prothat wont open the file. I download it from my bank using the option for QIF file and it sends to download icon on safari page (top right) when i double click the file that i have just downloaded i am told that it can not be opened and that i should find a file from app store of other .....

What is most anoying is that it used to work 'like magic'

Thanks for your help, I read the Wiki link and although it probably holds the answer, it was too much for my wee brain.

Do you know if there is a way that I can find the part of the file that used to work and then reinstall that, although that too is prpbable way over my head!

i suppose I need to download an app that does this but as I dont know where to start, I am lost
