Macbook Air Messenger

Hello!

I'm currently having some trouble with sending messages with the Messenger Application.

If the other user has an Apple Product, the message will send. But for the contacts who I know have an Android based phone, it won't send and in addition, their contact name is highlighted red.

Please help me out with this as I love using this application!
