When I try to open "Desktop & Screen Saver" from the System preferences I get the following message.
"Preferences Error Could not load Desktop & Screen Saver preference pane."
I am using a MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.1
I want to load my own pictures to the desktop.
Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with my Desktop & Screen Saver and Displays control panels. I've looked for a solution, but so far no one has one to offer that works. 😟 Hopefully, someone here will have THE answer.
