Slow computer Yosemite

I understand the first part is missing of the report. This is all that appeared. Here is information that I have from my About my computer. I can rerun the program as well if that'll be better it will just take some time.

Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

Storage: 95.38 GB free of 318.84 GB

Problem description:

My mac runs extremely slowly. Anything I try to do takes forever. Even just opening one tab takes a very long time. It is unbearable at this slow speed. It has become this slow only while using Yosemite, before it was never this slow. I’ve reinstalled Yosemite twice already and it has only gotten worse.

So I went ahead and reinstalled everything after deleting everything on my computer. I already had most of my things on an external hard drive thankfully. The computer runs as though its brand new and I'm very relieved. I wanted to thank all of you for helping me quite a lot, I appreciate it enormously. I ran EtreCheck after reinstalling everything and these are the results:

EtreCheck is just a diagnostic tool. Just because it looks fine doesn't mean it is. You did have Kernel I/O errors before and you do have an ancient, 2.5" hard disk. If you erase the disk, install less data, and don't access the portions of the disk that are bad, it doesn't necessarily mean the disk is now good. It just means you are accessing the bad parts.

Get yourself some more RAM and a new hard drive, preferably an SSD. It will cost a couple of hundred dollars total and take maybe 10 minutes.

OK, we are going to satisfy etresoft:

1. Start in the Recovery Partition: start while holding the CMD+R keys (it will start very slow),

in the Recovery Partition start DiskUtility from the menu,

click on the Hitachi disk name, and in the window on the right (bottom right side) click "Repair Disk", let it do the Repair and look if everything is OK, if not do it a second time, eventually a third time: if it is not OK the third time, restart and make backups again and prepare asap to replace the disk for a new one.

2. If it is OK however, click on the MacintoshHD name (underneath the Hitachi name) and in the right window (bottom left side) click "Repair Permissions", no need to read the list.

Restart the mac.

Note: If you want to have more info on the health of the disk: download the DriveDx trial from binaryfruits.com: install (it sits in the top menubar) and choose "open DriveDx application" and you can read a lot of predicitive health information. If you want to buy this app, buy it on the Appstore. I have very good experiences with this app.

If you need an opinion on the outcome choose "Save Dive Health Report", copy the text from it (in the Documents folder) and post it here.

So I did what you suggested and when I did repair disk everything seemed fine. It said "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK". I did not see the Hitachi disk name one the left I just saw MacintoshHD. However when I reinstalled my computer I saw Hitachi on the left side, its just not there now. I also did repair permissions. I downloaded the DriveDX and it said my disk is failing, there are two critical issues. They were "Reallocated Sector Count" and "Current Pending Sectors Count". Is there any way to fix these?
