Automatically Fill Free Space with Songs Picks the Same Albums Every Time I Sync

Hello,

I've recently started using the "Automatically fill free space with songs" option when syncing my phone, and the first time it seemed to work just fine. However, every time since then that I've tried wiping the music from my phone and re-syncing it simply pulls the same exact albums each time. From what I've read, it should be pulling random albums each time it syncs, but I've tried this roughly a dozen times with every tweak I can think of and only get the same results.

I've also discovered during all of this that when I have "Automatically fill free space with songs" activated iTunes does not sync any of my selected playlists, which is a whole other aggrivation.

If anyone can offer me a solution to this I would be incredibly grateful.
