iTunes library not showing up in iMovie 10.0.5

I am using iMovie 10.0.5 for the first time since I upgraded and subsequently had my files transferred via Genius Bar. Making a making trying to add music from iTunes to it. My content library does not show any of my music from iTunes in there, and it says "the contents of your iTunes library will appear here". In previous iMovie versions I have had the library show up and have used it. Any idea how to get my library to show up so I can use it?

I do know that I need to update to 10.0.6, but I looked at the issues and this was not one, and I will update to 10.0.6 once I am done with current project.

I figured it out! I had this same issue and I made sure everything was up to date like you all did... but it didn't fix it. My computer is brand new and I had not yet authorized this computer with my iTunes. Open up iTunes and go to the Account tab at the top and hit " authorize this computer" and shortly after they will start showing up in iMovie.
