MacBook Pro
Only if you have apple tv
Not directly no. But if your Macbook has an HDMI port, you can simply connect it to the Tv with an HDMI cable.
Otherwise,, you'll need an Apple Tv.
Thank you. I don't have a HDMI port though. do you know if there is a usb to HDMI converter?
Not through USB, but your MacBook should have a Thunderbolt or Mini Display port, so you can use a Mini Display to HDMI adapter instead:

I don't know about USB but probably there is a display minijack if you have an older MacBook Pro. You could look into something such as: http://www.newertech.com/products/tcblmdphdmid.php I just found this with a web search so I have no idea how well it works, or if it is a good price ($60 sounds like partway to an AppleTV) Don't forget you will have to accommodate getting audio across in addition to video. Newer MBPs do it all via HDMI out (we connected a MBP to our Samsung TV via HDMI).
You cannot directly transfer iTunes rentals to Samsung Smart TV fro the DRM protection. You can refer to http://www.noteburner.com/itunes-to-tv/play-itunes-movies-tv-shows-on-samsung-sm art-tv.html for help.
