10.10.1 memory leak new iMac 5k

Still testing my new system, but I am having a memory problem. The iMac is the highest spec available, so it shouldn't run out of memory. It appears the kernel_task is taking up 19.61 GB. See image attached. Is this a known bug in OS X 10.10.1?

The applications I am using are taking up a small percentage of my total memory.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi Linc...

Seem to be having min of 2 KP's per day.

Each time BSD thread points to a different area.

OS X 10.11.4(15E65)

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)

3.4 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2048 MB

Have tried: Full Clean OS 10 install (from bootable USB thumb drive, PRAM reset SMC reset, sudo commands for disk permission repairs etc.

Using Illustrator 2015.2.1 Ver 19.2.1 (CC) and Wacom Intuos5 M. when KPs occur but don't know if this is cause or just because I am using a lot.

Have not really tested running anything else, need to be using AI and Wacom tab all the time.

If I post next KP report would you have a look for me please..

Regards..
