Various Questions on LOGIC PRO X

Hi

few questiobs please;

1/ Lets say we finished a song but we want to delete the bridge.... Whats the fastet method in few clicks ? (in Pro Tools this is super easy but not sure in Logic...?)

2/ Always at the end of a song we decide our entire song need lets say 7 BPM more.... Is there a quick way to do that please ?

3/ Is there a way to jave the exact same playhead acting in Logic we have on PT, i mean in Pro Tool, when you hit play button, you can see the playhead starts along the song but you still see a kind of ruler marker which stays where the playhead initially starts...

Why doesn't Apple answer the questions that we ask about Logic Pro?

...and some of us users are just busy at the moment.....

However, for question #1...

#3 No......

and #2... it depends if you have audio files or just SI/Midi/Apple Loop tracks

With SI/Midi tracks/regions/Loops use the global tempo track.....

Audio files bring a different level of complexity so you may wish to read up on Flex....

OK thanks a lot my friend ! Honestly i tried to read the guide but sometimes it is not so clear at all and i dotn mention the times the guide dont speak at all about what im looking for...

So will dig your answers but please allow me to ask you a last one;

Lets say you are trying to make fades on a audi file in the arrangment window. So you are full zoom to create and edit the fade and hit the space bar to hear the result or to confirm you are editing the right area of the audio but then your playhead starts and the arrangment window scrolled and you never see the place of your playhead again when in zoom.....? How come ? I want to press play and see my arrangment window come back to the last locator !

I want to press play and see my arrangment window come back to the last locator !

If I understand you correctly....

Lots of different ways to do this..

Here are a few examples...

Use the Additional Transport Buttons...

or...

Control-click the Play button in the control bar... and then choose from one of the options....

or...

Use the Transport Key Commands..

Yeah thanks man but i tried already this but Logic well come back to the last locator but only "acoustically" and not visually...

Not sure im clear enough here as my english is very bad but lets say you are at bar 25 and you zoom in, then you press play then the playhead starts then you press stop AND YOU PRESS PLAY AGAIN, and at this moment the playhead well come back to the last locator but the arrangment window dont show it !! How can i edit anything like that ?......

Umm.. Im not sure I really understand what you are asking to be honest but.. In the view menu for either the arrange window or the File/track audio editor.. make sure Scroll in Play is not checked.. and then turn off the catch playhead button only for the track/File editor.... if you don't want it to scroll...

You have to turn it off after starting play....

To prevent the need to keep turning it off when starting play in the Arrange window.....

Go to Logic's preferences > General > Catch and uncheck all options...

Or

Use the zoom sliders (horizontal in the top right corner of the File/track window ) to resize the waveform to fit the window.. if that's feasible...
