Apple mail does not work in China even with VPN. Any solutiosn to that?

Same problem here. Even with Astrill VPN, Apple mail still cannot get email from Gmail. What's wrong?

Using the Stealth Mode in Astrill (an addon purchase) seems to have fixed it.
