I want to change the name of my bluetooth device in iOS.

Attended a meeting yesterday. Several others in the room had the same Logitech Ultrathin BT keyboard. So, the connect list was a mile long. Each attempt to connect failed as others were connecting to each others keyboards......no way to tell who's keyboard belonged to whom. Everyone gave up on trying to use the Logitech keyboard. A bit frustrating to say the least. This should be a simple fix......but, doesn't look like it unless I'm willing to jailbreak my iPad?

That doesn't help. This only changes the name of your phone. The issue mentioned is being able to change the name of the bluetooth device, not your actual phone.

Right, but the frustrating thing is that OS X has allowed creating an alias for BT devices for years, iOS not yet.

I'm already did like u said but its still remain unchanged. The result is only rename my phone as iphone even i try so many time to change my name. Any solution??
