My ipod nana 7th generation has a black screen, but shows up in itunes. What can the problem be?

I have an ipod nano 7th generation that has a black screen. When connected to my pc, it shows up. I have tried restoring, and it works, but the screen is still black. What can the problem be?

Hi, rj451205.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that your iPod nano displays a blank screen and you have tried restoring your device with the issue persisting. There are just a couple more steps in the article below that I could recommend, including Issue not resolved.
