ipod will not connect to wifi anymore
I have just returned from a business trip and my iPod Touch (5th Gen) will not connect to my home wifi network
I have tested and the iPod connects to other wifi networks without problem
If the wifi is in its normal security mode (i.e. WPA2-PSK) then I get the error "Incorrect password for ..."
I have tried switching off security on the wifi network, network correctly shows without the padlock icon and instead when I try to join I get the error "Unable to join the network"
All my other wifi enabled devices are still able to connect to the network without problem
I tried a restore the iPod from an older back-up (when wifi worked) but that did not solve the issue (I connected to my phone's hotspot to disable Find my Phone)
I am running the latest iOS - 8.1.2 (12B440)
I have checked the wifi router, no blacklists or MAC filtering is switched on (and I am the only person with the router's admin password)
I have tried manually entering the wifi credentials (IP address that does not conflict, mask, DNS etc) and even with no wifi security still cannot connect
Please let me know if anyone has any other suggestions
