Wiping free space

Is there an app or procedure to securely wipe or erase the free space on your Iphone 6 plus?

Set it back to factory settings:

Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

or do this:

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
